On the eve of the New Year, Nicaragua’s president, Daniel Ortega, delivered a poignant message to the nation and the world, emphasizing hope, unity, and hard work as essential foundations for confronting the challenges that the New Year will bring.
During his speech, Ortega celebrated the achievements of the Nicaraguan people in the past year, highlighting their strong commitment to peace and collective well-being.
“We concluded a Year of Commitments to Peace, seeking Harmony and Understanding among all, and for the Good of all,” he stated, underscoring the collaborative efforts of Nicaraguan families to build a more just and prosperous future.
The President also stressed the significance of spirituality and faith in the lives of the Nicaraguan people, noting that these qualities have been fundamental in overcoming challenges. “We know how to find Him, listen to Him, and obey [God], because in the people and their great spirituality resides God,” said Ortega.
